Greetings, and thanks for dropping by on my website.

Karl Marx said that history repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce. It is, of course, one of the standard excuses for a writer not to update their website. Leave a page long enough, and it will be true again sooner or later. Whenever you are reading this, there will (hopefully) be details on my website of recent publications, reviews and forthcoming appearances at festivals, libraries and bookshops. You might say that the trick of keeping your home page relevant is to ensure that you only talk about things that will stay topical.

So, if you want to take your mind off Andy Murray’s recent defeat at Wimbledon or that terrible scandal involving two members of the House of Lords, a kangaroo and five tubs of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, then you might like to take a tour round the site. It contains information about my books, events I am attending, some of the interviews I have given and (because she leads a much more interesting life than I do) a bit about my dog. There are also pages with notes on my novels for book groups.

If you want to know what I am doing this very minute, then you can also follow me on Twitter, where men call me @lenctyler.

If you want to contact me, my email is listed in the Contact section. (Yes, OK, I know - the Contact section wasn’t likely to contain my shopping list - but it’s easy to miss those little boxes up there.) I do try to reply to all mails, so if you have any comments on my books or would like me, or my dog, to attend your book group or some other event, please get in touch.

In the meantime, happy reading!

(Gosh, the sun’s just come out. Who’d have thought it at this time of year, eh?)
